Philip John McMahon is a uniquely qualified thought leader at the intersection of corporate strategy, Executive coaching and clinical leadership consulting. With a career spanning over four decades, He has served as consultant Psychologist, C-suite Executive leader in Mental health, Forensic psychiatry, addictions service systems, Chairman of a Police Commission, Chairman of a private sector corporate intelligence firm, Executive level Management advisor-corporate turn-around specialist and clinical leadership consultant. He has served as the chief negotiator in a number of police department collective bargaining processes and has led extensive reforms in large and complex change and re-structuring corporate processes within multiple unionized environments.

Licensed as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist McMahon has served in C-suite Executive positions leading complex system-level reforms in policing, correctional services, corporate security and Intelligence and Executive clinical and leadership dysfunction and psycho-pathology has positioned him as a critical asset to corporate boards, individual executives, leaders and blue chip professionals,law firms, intelligence teams, and C-suite leaders facing complex human challenges in high-stakes environments with a zero failure mandate.

His work moves beyond traditional leadership and organizational development development, cutting into the pathology, politics, and power dynamics that often sabotage decision-making at the top. From diagnosing dark triad traits, addictions and behavioral health issues in executives to profiling and mitigating internal sabotage efforts McMahon brings psychological precision and operational realism to organizations navigating risk, complexity, and disruption.

He blends the rigor of deep Clinical- Forensic psychological practice with the strategic lens of consulting Psychology and decades of personal experience in the C-suite. Over the years in addition to his other duties he maintained a private practice providing Clinical leadership consulting( focusing his practice in the area’s of working with Executives manifesting significant “dark triad” (psychopathy, machiavellianism, narcissitic) personality disorders, addictions and significant behavioral health problems.— offering clients not just insight, but intervention as well as consultation to legal counsel and labour relations professionals. Testifying in court he has been designated as an expert witness in the area of psycho-pathology. During his educational formation he earned undergraduate as well as Masters and Doctoral Degree's with a focus on Forensic psychology, clinical psychology and post graduate certificates in Negotiation, Mediation , Arbitration and labour relations. He holds and has licensure as a Forensic-Clinical Psychologist in multiple Canadian jurisdictions and is a  member of the Ontario Psychological Association, International Association for Jungian Studies, the Society for Consulting Psychologists, society of police and criminal psychology, society of military psychology and forensic psychology group, the international association of risk management intelligence professionals, the society for corporate competitive intelligence professionals, American society of Forensic criminologists, He has been awarded Diplomate staus in Psychotherapy, Forensic Evaluation. He is a member of the Canadian Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association,(I.S.T.D.P.), Harvard university-Mclean Executive coaching association ,International Society for Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations and the American leadership association.He serves as an Advisor to the International society of Jungian coaches and consultants based out of the European Union.
